What is a Conversation?
A conversation is an act of interactive communication between two or more people usually spontaneous or unplanned, although excepted when arranging meetings for business or personal reasons. Typically a conversation occurs in spoken communication through speech or sign language to accommodate impaired hearing problems in some people.
Conversation through spoken or sign language is a way of talking to others socially, usually it’s informal as appose to e-mails for example. Conversations usually involve expressing and the exchange of opinions, ideas, new information or thoughts and feelings. Questions are asked and then responded to.
Conversation is typically identified as spoken language because written exchanges are not usually seen as ‘a conversation’. In our modern day digital ways of having a ‘conversation’ are increasing more popular than verbal communication, face to face with one another or in a group.
