Initial Ideas
I looked at all the areas the surround the topic of a conversation, social behaviour, technology, lifestyle etc... but when listing them i realised that everything can be turned into a conversations, every topic we talk about, thin about and interact with each other over. the brief was so broad i could take it in any way I wanted.
After listing all possibilities and areas i could think of i started to look at narrowed down ideas that i could explore... I thought about the possibility of putting digital and verbal communication against each other and discovering how technology and media had effected that balance and exchange of talk. or using a range of way to represent different topics of communication like using line to represent gossip and shape to represent politics.
However one that stood out for me was the idea of creating a campaign that outlines our relationship with technology. the idea of this one meant that i could pick a particular topic and explore that in depth, one that came to mind was self image and how we portray ourselves on line for other to see. somehting that is very current in conversation today and would interest everyone fro teenagers to their parents and grandparents. it seemed like a wide and interesting area to cover.
