Box Design: (Extra Work)

After the session I had and I had been unsuccessful I decided to draw out a cereal box design on paper first and then scan this in and trace over, making it better and easier for me to do. Once I had scanned this image in it meant I was able to adjust it properly.
I took it into illustrator and started to work on it. I made sure I separated the colour and the outline layers as seen below....


Again I wasn't completely happy and I want to play around more with this and see what I could do, the problem I had was with the outline but I managed to rectify this by doing the background layers first. And building them up from there...

I’m still not happy with this, as I believe it still doesn’t look enough like a cereal box. I plan to keep developing until I get what I want.
