Founded back in 2002 by Marcus and Jonny and now joined by a team, they are a creative and hard-working animation & illustration studio with a history of producing great characters and original ideas.
Work in advertising, healthcare or children’s TV, their specialties include animation design and production, CGI illustration & animation, and series concept development, but most of all, making clients happy.
I took a look into finger industries and some of their work, and although their work is not something I would do myself, I took inspiration from what I found and I think their work is brilliant.
The first thing I found was this process they follow in their design process shown in the slide show below. Its all so slick and works up to a final, since starting 2nd year I have being trying to follow a structure when doing work like this and although I don't feel I'm great at it, going through the process has always worked for me, a lot of trial and error and tweaking.
Another piece of work that I really loved was this below, I haven't used cinema 4D myself too much other than in the production workshops and creating something lie this would be great, last week we created a 3d type animation that was similar in style, after seeing this I want to see if I can be a little imaginative with the idea, or even just play around to see what simple effects I can get. I think the colours are what really stood out for me, it works really well using bold colours when working with lighting and shadows in cinema 4d and exploring that a little more might lead me to this effect.

A project that caught my eye was the one below, the reason it did it because of the hand drawn aspect, I haven't done an illustration project so far but I want to do one for my last project, so looking at things like this gives me inspiration and ideas into what i want my drawings and style to look like. I also quite like the limited colour pallet but its something that would have to be decided depending on the nature of my project.
