Seminar: 1 minute Pecha Kucha presentation

As part of our summertime assessment we have to talk through our contextual portfolio in the form of a presentation. The idea is that we Pick out the key points in our contextual and present them talking about how they have helped us and linked us to other things in our studio and production work. I already have some ideas on how the theory has influenced my choices and how all three modules have tied together. However many of us struggle with getting this message across, so the aim for the next few weeks is to help our presentation skills by first starting with a 1 minute presentation consisting of 5 slides, talking about each slide for 20 seconds.

We had to find exhibition and gallery pieces hat we could talk about, the aim was to find the interesting ones, different and original and talk about how they are different. I found some examples I had come across before like the 'Gathering of strangers' and how it can be placed in different locations and have a different context. Also the idea of using light and reflections to create art installations. Even using full rooms and real life organisms. Some of these examples I drew from my own visits to galleries, things I had been shown in theory as well as my own findings through research.

Below is my presentation....
